How
many people can Arcadia Cottage accommodate?
Arcadia
can accommodate up to 6 people. It has 3 bedrooms, each of
which sleep 2 people. The main bedroom
has a queen size bed. The 2nd bedroom has a four-poster double
bed. The living room can be easily converted into a 3rd bedroom
as it has a double sofa bed with TV and ensuite.
Unfortunately, Arcadia does not accommodate pets, and smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
What
facilities does Arcadia Cottage offer?
Arcadia
Cottage has a formal
dining room and kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry facilities,
living area and up to 3
bedrooms, each of which sleep 2 people.
The
dining and kitchen areas cater for 6 people, and are equipped
with a formal dining table, gas cooker, microwave, fridge,
toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Gas
convection heating enables guests to dine in comfort. Outdoor
seating and BBQ provided on the rear
deck also allows guests to dine outside.
The
main bedroom has
a queen size bed with electric blanket. The 2nd
bedroom has a four-poster double bed with electric blanket
and heater. Both bedrooms are close to the main bathroom which
has a shower bath. All towels and bed linen are provided.
The
living room can be easily converted into a 3rd bedroom as
it has a double sofa bed with TV, ensuite bathroom and electric
heater.
How
do I get to Arcadia Cottage?
By
car: turn off the Great Western Highway into Katoomba
town centre. Follow the main street, Katoomba St, down past
the shops and down the hill towards Echo Point. When the hill
flattens out before you get to Echo Point, turn right down
Katoomba Falls Rd and head towards the caravan park. Drive
past the caravan park and the sign for the Scenic Railway.
Continue along until the road becomes Kamillaroi Rd. Look
out on the right hand side for number 31, Arcadia's yellow
weatherboard cottage and a lane ahead leading up to the golf
course. You can park in the lane near the front of the cottage
or at the rear of the cottage.
By
train: alight at Katoomba and exit on the town centre
side of the train station. A taxi stand is located by the
entrance to the train station. You can either take a 5-minute
taxi ride to Arcadia Cottage at 31 Kamillaroi Rd Katoomba;
or catch the shuttle bus, getting off at the caravan park,
and walking 5 minutes to the cottage.

do I make an enquiry or a booking?

Once
your booking is received, you will be sent an email confirming
availability and cost before a 50% deposit (non-refundable
in the event of cancellation) is debited from your credit
card. The remaining 50% will be debited following your stay.
